Nutrition Therapy Services

Complimentary call

15 min | FREE | TELEHEALTH ONLY

This is a complimentary video conference to discuss your interest in working together and see if we are a good fit, including an overview of the process, what to expect and insurance information if applicable.

Initial Session

75 min | $200

During our first session together, we will work on a full nutrition assessment to better understand you, your relationship with food and nutrition, and your overall health. Together, we will think of ways to attain healthy (to you), achievable short-term and long-term goals.

Follow-up SESSIONS

60 min | $160

Nutrition therapy is an ongoing process to ensure patients are on a comfortable track to reach and maintain their goals, and revise goals as they progress or change. Scheduling follow-up sessions differs depending on nutrition status, needs, goals, comfort level, finances, etc. Typically I see new patients every other week initially and monthly thereafter. Depending on the patient I would say a good timeline is at least six months to two years of working together. We will figure out what works best for you.

Medgem RMR testing

30 min | $35 (for DS Nutrition patients only)

The MedGem is a handheld indirect calorimetry device designed to measure an individual's resting metabolic rate (RMR). I’ve found it especially helpful when tracking food or using standard calorie estimates doesn’t seem to match what’s actually going on with a person’s metabolism.

I highly value collaborative relationships when working together - that is why I recommend working together for at least 6 months vs. one or two sessions. Nutrition therapy takes time, patience and practice.
