The initial assessment is just the first step—we’re laying the groundwork. We won’t solve everything in one session.

Follow-up SESSIONS

Follow-ups provide ongoing support and adjustments as your needs evolve. Nutrition therapy is a process, and we’ll work together to refine strategies as your needs change.

Session frequency varies depending on factors like nutrition status, comfort level, goals, and financial considerations. Many patients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions and transition to monthly sessions.

The MedGem is a handheld indirect calorimetry device that measures your resting metabolic rate. I’ve found it especially helpful when tracking food or using standard calorie estimates doesn’t seem to line up with your body’s energy needs—if that’s the approach we’re using together.
