Danielle Sobieski MS, RDN, CDN
Hello! I’m Danielle, founder of DS Nutrition and a registered dietitian nutritionist. I hold a BS in Diagnostic Genetic Sciences and Dietetics from the University of Connecticut and an MS in Human Nutrition from the University of New Haven.
Before becoming a dietitian, I worked as a molecular technologist in diagnostic laboratories, where I developed an interest with how genes, metabolism, and diet intersect to influence health. After completing my dietetic internship, I worked as a registered dietitian in hospital and dialysis settings, supporting patients across a wide range of health conditions.
I aim to create a safe space where we focus on what matters most to you—whether that’s improving health, reducing stress around food, or navigating a chronic condition. My work is centered on empowering adults to build habits and routines that support their well-being, without rigid rules or extreme restriction.
Some of the questions that guide my work include:
How can I help people feel better in their bodies and about the foods they eat?
How can I empower individuals with chronic conditions to advocate for their health?
How can I make nutrition care more inclusive, practical, and grounded in real life?
How can I bridge gaps in care and provide evidence-based guidance with nuance?
I currently reside in Brooklyn, New York with my partner, daughter, and our dog, Asher.
