THOUGHTFUL NUTRITION FOR PCOS GROUP

This small, supportive group is for adults 18+ with PCOS or suspected PCOS who are seeking practical, compassionate nutrition guidance and community.

This group is intended for individuals who feel overwhelmed by PCOS-related nutrition information and would benefit from a supportive environment to build foundational knowledge. Over six weeks, the group will focus on increasing understanding of PCOS and day-to-day habits that may support overall health. Educational topics include:

  • Overview of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and its physiological effects

  • Nutrition fundamentals relevant to PCOS management

  • The role of sleep and physical activity in PCOS

  • Stress and nervous system support (as time permits)

Sessions are educational and discussion-based, with opportunities for questions and shared learning. Content is general in nature and does not replace individualized medical nutrition therapy.

What to expect:

  • Foundational nutrition education related to PCOS

  • A respectful group setting

  • Peer support from others navigating PCOS

  • Guidance based on evidence and real-life experience, focusing on flexibility and sustainability—not rigid or extreme approaches

Group details:

  • Small group: ~6-8 participants who reside in New York or New Jersey

  • Virtual sessions

  • Wednesdays, 8:30–9:30 PM (subject to change)

  • 6-week series

  • $25 per session

Start date: TBD (likely March/April)

This group may be a good fit if you:

  • Are feeling overwhelmed by PCOS nutrition advice and want a thoughtful, supportive place to learn and feel less alone.

  • Are looking to actively engage with others living with PCOS.

  • Are not currently in active eating disorder recovery.
(Please reach out if you have questions or are unsure.)

  • Are able to attend most sessions and participate through discussion, with space to ease into joining the conversation over the first few sessions.

This group may not be the right fit if:

  • You are currently in active eating disorder recovery or engaging in significant disordered eating behaviors
(If you’re unsure, please contact me and we can talk through what level of support would be most appropriate.)

  • You are unable to attend or do not plan to participate in most sessions

Insurance information

  • If you plan to use insurance, an initial individual session is required before the group begins to complete an assessment and documentation.

  • If you are a current client using insurance, your initial assessment is already complete.

  • If you are not a current client and plan to use insurance, I will verify your benefits and provide a cost estimate prior to the start of the group.

  • Insurance can be tricky—please email with any questions!

If you have any questions about the fit, please feel free to email or text so we can set up a time to chat.
